Website terms

These terms cover use of westmidlandsdrone.co.uk. Project-specific services should be governed by a separate written quotation or booking agreement.

Website information Quotations Flight feasibility Mapping limitations Website content Liability Applicable law

Effective date: 29 July 2026. These website terms do not replace the detailed scope, price, cancellation and usage terms that should accompany a confirmed project.

1. Website information

The website provides general information about drone filming, FPV video and aerial mapping. It is not a guarantee that a particular location, flight path, date, output or result can be provided.

Information may be changed to reflect services, equipment, regulation, operational practice or website improvements.

2. Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking. A project should only be treated as accepted after the scope, price, date, deliverables, usage and applicable terms have been confirmed in writing.

A quotation may depend on accurate information from the client, including location, site control, intended use, expected attendance, access restrictions and required outputs.

3. Flight feasibility and changes

Drone operations are subject to safety, weather, airspace, site access, privacy, landowner permission, uninvolved people and other legal or operational restrictions. A requested shot may need to be adapted, delayed or cancelled where it cannot be carried out safely or lawfully.

Clients should not make irreversible plans based solely on an initial enquiry. Any rescheduling, cancellation or additional permission terms should be set out in the project agreement.

4. Mapping and measurement limitations

Aerial imagery, orthomosaic-style outputs, models and measurements vary according to aircraft, flight plan, ground control, software, site conditions and required accuracy.

Unless expressly agreed and professionally validated for a defined purpose, mapping outputs must not be treated as a cadastral, boundary, engineering, structural or chartered survey.

5. Client responsibilities

The client should provide accurate project information and confirm that they are authorised to commission work at the location. Where relevant, the client may need to coordinate access, site contacts, venue consent, participant information or the control of an area.

6. Website content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website's design, text, graphics, branding and original content may not be copied, republished or commercially reused without permission.

Illustrative images are used to explain service categories and should not be interpreted as a portfolio, a specific aircraft guarantee or evidence that a particular site has been completed.

7. External links

The website may refer to third-party or official information. External sites are controlled by their respective operators. Links do not guarantee that external content remains available, accurate or suitable for a specific project.

8. Website availability and liability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website available and accurate, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Project-specific liability, usage rights, delivery, cancellation and payment provisions should be stated in the accepted quotation or contract.

9. Applicable law

These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may deal with disputes relating to the website.
